October 16th was National Feral Cat Day – but we celebrate this day everyday as mom is always thinking about the feral cats and the community cats of our local area of Hudson County, NJ!
Mom said that when she thinks about World Cat Day – it makes her think of all the homeless and abandoned cats on the streets locally and around the world. After all, what other cats would you think about?
Just about a year ago, Mayor Brian Stack of Union City, New Jersey announced that he wanted to address the community and stray cat needs of his city – this was in response to numerous call-outs from the town’s feline advocates.
